I know the last thing any of us want is someone telling us what to do, for the most part we would like to think of ourselves as independent thinkers. So why is it we spend most of our time following somebody else's lead. Most of it is sub conscience we don't even realize who much our choices are influenced by others. Dress, style, and even some habits can be credited to the people around us. As much as we try and be individuals we have a need to "fit in." That piece of our DNA keeps us trying to be "a part" instead of "apart". We all know being purple is being apart! Let's face it, the majority of us are followers to our heart and what stands out more than someone who is willing to stand up! A word that scares me to my core is CONFORMITY all though on some levels we all conform in our on way. The problem comes in when we can no longer recognize ourselves because we have assimilated into the herd.
Most of our time is spent following guidelines that have been set for us. Granted this helps keep some kind of order in our day to day but doesn't it sound kind of boring? I know, I know, it's not suppose to be all fun and games but in the words of the great Jimmy Hendrix "I don't give a damn what others say, it's okay to color outside of the lines". Mr. Hendrix could not have been more correct keeping order is fine, but there is room for a little scribbling every once in a while.
Me and my team try to live a purple life, we would like you to join us, not become us. It's crazy to even take what we say and blindly follow us! Although we do offer any one who is also searching for that feeling of a little liberation in your day to day, your welcome to come rite along and join in the purple! No more getting along just to get along, later for keeping up with the Jones, when you're purple you tend to sweep around your own front door. By no means are we elites or claiming to only accept a certain mold or type, on the contrary most of our purple family comes from all walks of life with one common theme. To find out what that theme is join in on the journey into a whole new page, a purple page..
